This notice sets out the intellectual property rights in the Aweh brand, platform and content, and the terms on which they may be accessed. By using this website or the Aweh platform, you agree to respect these rights.

1. Ownership

Aweh™ and the Aweh logo are trademarks of Aweh Commerce (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in the Republic of South Africa (Reg. 2026/503487/07), with its registered office in Paarl, Western Cape. All rights in the name, logo and brand identity are reserved.

2. Copyright

All content on this website and the Aweh platform — including the software, source code, design, layout, user interface, graphics, text, images and the look and feel of the WhatsApp ordering experience — is the property of Aweh Commerce (Pty) Ltd or its licensors, and is protected by the Copyright Act 98 of 1978 and applicable international treaties. 3. What you may not do

Except with our prior written permission, you may not: copy, reproduce, republish or distribute any part of the Aweh brand, platform or content; reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape or attempt to derive the source code or underlying structure of the platform; use the Aweh name, logo or any confusingly similar mark for a competing or related product or service; imitate the design, layout or user experience of the platform in a way likely to confuse customers as to origin; or use any of the above to build, market or operate a similar or competing product or service.

Enforcement — Aweh Commerce (Pty) Ltd actively protects its intellectual property. Unauthorised use of our trademarks, copyright works, brand or confidential information will be pursued to the full extent of South African law, including an urgent interdict to stop the conduct and a claim for damages and legal costs.

4. Permitted use

You may view and use this website and the Aweh platform for their intended purpose — learning about, signing up for, and using the Aweh service. Merchants and customers are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform in the ordinary course, which does not transfer any ownership of our intellectual property.

5. Third-party marks

WhatsApp and Meta are trademarks of their respective owners. PayFast is a trademark of its owner. Aweh is an independent service and is not endorsed by or affiliated with Meta. References to third-party marks are for identification only.

6. Reporting infringement & licensing

To report suspected infringement of our intellectual property, or to request permission or a licence to use it, contact us at legal@getaweh.co.za. We will act on credible reports promptly.

7. Reservation of rights

Nothing on this website or platform grants, by implication or otherwise, any licence or right to use any trademark, copyright or other intellectual property of Aweh Commerce (Pty) Ltd without our prior written consent. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
